Lung Cancer - Mr. Yang

My mother in law has always been an energetic person and she can’t live without having something to do. She loves to knit and weave sweaters aside from riding her bicycle around. She never had an opportunity to go to school because of poverty when she was a child. At present, she is attending evening classes to continue in enriching her. She has also been a voluntary worker for her entire life. My mother in law is so jubilant and healthy that she hardly ever gets sick.

However, in October 1998, she suddenly coughed out bloody phlegm. The medical examination revealed that she suffering from lung cancer in its final stage. I was not able to bring myself to tell her this fact.

After my mother in law underwebt an operation was released from hospital, she began to take Tien Hsien Liquid. Tien Hsien Liquid took effect quickly and my mother in law has gradually recovering to the original “energetic mother” she once was. She said, “the chance to contact the outside world can not be given up even if one has caught disease.”

I did not what to do before, but now I encourage my mother in law to do whatever she want to do. Although fate is beyond control, we must live a vigorous life to the end.
